Covendis Implements Large Australian Consulting Firm in 30 Days
Atlanta, Georgia, September 1, 2006 – Covendis Technologies announced that it has completed a major implementation for a large consulting firm with locations across Australia and New Zealand.
“This customer needed to get up and running within 30 days for contractual reasons and needed a platform that could handle multiple currencies in Australia and New Zealand while also being integrated with their SAP system.” said founder and Chief Executive Officer Raymond Tsao. “Despite the size and complexity of the implementation, including the challenge of time and distance, Covendis was able to launch on time in less than the 30 days given.”
The Covendis platform has been developed to address the unique requirements of leading multinational companies that wish to implement a single services procurement or vendor management solution (VMS) across multiple geographies. These companies are able to establish a dominant currency, yet manage each requisition in a different currency. Suppliers are able to quickly generate consolidated invoices in a single currency. Covendis updates the currency conversion rates on a daily basis which enables the most flexibility for customers.
